- Vinification: 100% Merlot from the vineyards of the municipality of Ligornetto. Careful grape selection. The must is fermented in 5000 liter wooden vats. The wine is then matured for 18 months in new barriques.
- Culinary recommendation: Wonderful with beef - from steaks and stroganoff to tartare or slow-cooked roasts from the oven. A wonderful accompaniment to braised dishes of all kinds - whether lamb gigot, beef shoulder, roast pork or ossobuco.
- Aroma & flavor: Sparkling deep wine red in the glass with brilliant reflections. The nose is dominated by aromas of plums, dark and red berries, a fine hint of toast, tobacco and spices. On the palate, it shows a typical Merlot fullness: soft, velvety, aromatic and well-balanced.
