- Winemaking: During harvest, only the best grapes—fully ripe and perfectly healthy—are hand-picked. The slightly dried and cool grapes are destemmed and fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 12 °C. Aging in stainless steel tanks and large oak barrels lasts about nine months. The wine is then aged in the bottle for another nine months to achieve the best balance between fruity, varietal, and spicy notes.
- Food pairing: A full-bodied and elegant wine whose qualities are best appreciated with red meat, roasts, and game dishes.
- Aroma & Taste: A full-bodied and elegant wine! Aromas of ripe cherries, stewed plums, and rosehip jam, underpinned by delicately spicy notes of dried culinary herbs and a hint of licorice. Enormously dense fruit on the palate, delicately supported by elegant tannins; very well-balanced, broad, and round, flowing into a lingering finish.
