- Vinification: 100% Merlot from the vineyards of the municipality of Ligornetto. Careful grape selection. The must is fermented in 5,000-liter wooden vats. The wine is then aged for 18 months in new barriques.
- Food pairing: Wonderful with beef—from steaks and stroganoff to steak tartare or slow-roasted meats from the oven. A wonderful accompaniment to all kinds of braised dishes—whether leg of lamb, beef shoulder, roast pork, or osso buco.
- Aroma & Taste: In the glass, a sparkling, deep wine red with brilliant highlights. The nose is dominated by aromas of plums, dark and red berries, subtle toasty notes, tobacco, and spices. On the palate, it displays the typical fullness of a Merlot: soft, velvety, aromatic, and well-balanced.
