A wonderful accompaniment to braised dishes of all kinds - whether lamb gigot, beef shoulder, roast pork or ossobuco. Excellent with mature hard cheeses - from Parmigiano Reggiano and Sbrinz to Pecorino or older Alpine cheeses.
- Aroma & flavor: Impenetrable purple. Intense aromas of red fruits and warm spices on the nose, as well as a delightful floral note. Compact and concentrated on the palate, with the typical fruitiness of this vintage. The juicy acidity and crisp tannins are perfectly balanced with the opulence of this wine. A masterfully successful vintage with exceptional ageing potential.
